DESCRIPTION:
PRIMO 100 Injection is a dihydrotestosterone based anabolic steroid consisting of Methenolone Enanthate. It is an ester derivative of methenolone and when it interacts with the aromatase enzyme, it does not form any estrogens. It is used by people who are very susceptible to estrogenic side effects, having lower estrogenic properties than nandrolone It is an enanthate ester which is quite long-acting because it by-passes hepatic breakdown on the first pass and has a higher survival rate. Methenolone is not 17-alpha-alkylated. This reduces the stress on the liver but also the availability. It is considered one of the safer steroids, meaning it has few side effects. Methenolone has no estrogenic side effects, and its effects on cholesterol levels are minimal. It is possibly one of the safer anabolic steroids for females due to very low irilization effects in short term usage
INDICATIONS:
Aplastic anaemias.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
PRIMO 100 Injection is contra-indicated in pregnancy as the Methenolone Enanthate contained in the preparation, like all anabolic agents, possesses some androgenic activity which may lead to signs of viri lisation in the femalene m Because of this androgenic activity, it is also contra-indicated in patients with prostatic carcinoma, since such substances may aggravate the disease
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
n general, dosage should be adjusted according to the response of the individual patient Usually, 300mg-600mg needs to be injected once a week PRIMO 100 should be administered by intramuscular injection
SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
In female patients, signs of virilisation(acne, hirsutism, hoarseness, possibly irreversible deepening of the voice) must be reckoned with; in sexually mature women menstrual irregularities may occur. In adult males, spermatogenesis may be inhibited, in boys there may be signs of premature puberty. Non adult patients should be monitored for accelerated bone maturation by X ray Impairment of liver function is less frequent than with a 17alpha-alkytated anabotic steroid In men, regular examinations of the prostate should be carried out prophylactically to exclude a maugnant tumour
